Cue Happiness

FALL SEMESTER 2010 IS OFFICIALLY OVER! Woohoo, I'm finally done with all of my million final exams, projects, and papers. It's about friggin' time. I'm not exactly sure how I survived the past three weeks, but I did....I think it's a Christmas miracle. No more papers, or studying, or ANYTHING! Just a month of pure happiness.

Today has been a great day. The snow is very pretty, although it is slippery and cold. When I'm cuddle up in my blanket on the futon, I like looking at it. Not necessarily walking through it. So today I had my last two finals (woohoo again) and then my roommate Kelsey and I went to find an apartment and we signed the lease for one that we LOVE!!!!! It is going to be so cute and quirky, I really love it! So glad to have gotten that done before leaving for home.

Also, I FINALLY finished unpacking (haha yeah a whole semester later) and cleaned my room. It's almost complete--I'm just working on covering up the walls with stuff! Yay clean/unpacked room.

PoOooOOoOooOOOOoooOOoOOOOOoooOoooOooosty Pooooooooost!
This is quote that I very much enjoy, and since I'm so happy, I thought I would try to spread the happiness!!!!!

"Don't forget to dream big dreams, to take a chance and sing out loud,
to laugh at all the silly stuff, and tuck away some memories.
Don't forget to celebrate the real and true authentic you-
the one whose spirit shines so bright, the one who's loved so very much."
-Anonymous

I love it and it's true about all of my blogger fans!!!!! You are all loved! 'Tis the season to be jolly, now go spread some joy to someone, ANYONE, I don't care who it is!!! Keep smiling :)

Em_ J (P.s. anyone who's reading this needs to start calling me that. Thanks in advance.)

Oh hey, Emo Kid.

So, the semester is almost over. Yet I still have appx. one million things to do. Awesome. Not really sure why I'm blogging right now because I should be going to bed, but just can't. Just watched part of Inception and it was amazing per usual. Now I probably won't be able to sleep because I feel like I'm constantly dreaming. Then I'll have to get a totem. This could take a while.

This is basically just mumbo jumbo nonsense that I'm writing right now. Whateva, I don't even mind and I'm sure my non-existent readers don't mind either. :) Thanks invisibles.

Italian Thanksgiving Haiku:

Great friends and good food
Bitches be slappin' that bag
Wine hangovers suck

This is a NP^2 day. This entry kind of sucks, my apologies.

All my love,

Friday Night Haiku

HOLY CRAP, this is a legitimate Friday night haiku, because it actually happened on a Friday. Whoa.

Two parties converged
Mumbling through Taylor Swift songs
I hate Four Loko.

Gives you an idea of how I feel today. Glad I can put my feelings into poetry. Love you.

おかげで (That means Thanks in Japanese!)

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For everything you do. Whether you're reading this and you are my BFF lova or you are just an acquaintance, or you don't even know me at all. I am thankful for you, and I'm sure many others are as well. Although, it's a little late to be talking about Thanks (you know, since we only have one day for that--Thanksgiving), I'm going to continue to show my gratitude throughout the whole year. What a friggin' concept!!!!

Thanksgiving was awesome. I seriously love eating. My friend Alex and I cooked with our two siblings, it was bomb. I'll walk you through our menu. Salad, rolls, cranberries, green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole, mashed potatoes, stuffing, corn casserole, gravy, turkey, caramel apple cheesecake, and pumpkin pie. HOLY CRAP, I think I gained 20 pounds. But it was totally worth it.

lalalalalalalalalalala. You know when you can't get a song out of your head? I have a love/hate relationship with that feeling. It's really weird because it's usually a song I like and it's just like playing really quietly in the back of my head. Currently it's "Memories" by Kid Cudi. Love me some Kid Cudi, but it's literally been in my head for like 72 hours. Oh well.

Friday night haiku of the week:

Avoiding creepers
On the dance floor at Toucans
"I'll make you fly girl."

Hope you enjoyed that one. That basically sums up my night (although it was a Wednesday night).

POSTY POOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOST!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So my friend Matt has a great, up and coming blog about his new Fryer and the many things he fries in it. You should really check it out if you already haven't, because this is a BIG concept people. Live it, love it, eat fried foods.

So thanks again for being you, and I'll try to update soon. Loves it.

Good timezzzzz

Hey ya'll. HOLY CRAP, two days in a row of updating. Who am I? This is wiggity wack...nope just regular type. But really this is very out of the ordinary for me. Commitment to this blog is not something that I do on the reg. I'll give it a go.

So, I'm in this organization at my college called Campus Activities Board. We put on free events for students ranging from comedy shows to movies not out on video to acoustic artists. My committee had an acoustic artist tonight. His name was Nick Motil and he was AMAZING. So although this isn't the posty-post, I am going to post to his website, you should TOTALLY check him out and listen to all of his music--it's on iTunes! He's super great and this is his website:

www.nickmotil.com

Seriously check him out he is boss. He was super nice and everybody loved him! Yay awesome music.

SO besides that, can I just say that today was BEAUTIFUL. It was friggin' like 70 degrees...it is November and our windows are open. CRAZY. I love it though, and I can deal with this. Maybe if this year we just don't have a winter? Yeah it can snow on Christmas, but that's it. Thanks in advance mother nature.

I have a stupid video for a class that I need to do like RIGHT now, but instead I am writing this blog. I think the busier I get, the more I want to blog to procrastinate what I actually have to do. That is not legit at all, I'm a slacka. AAAAAAAAAAAnyways, hey ADD.

POSTY POooOoOoOoOOOOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOst!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you to my roommate and friend Kelsey Burns for showing me this gem of a video. LOVES IT and you should too!

This $hit is BANANAS....

No seriously, it's bananas. But really, that song has been stuck in my head ALL DAY LONG. And now it will be stuck in yours. Sorry about that.

Oh hey rambling, how are you today? Here I go. Just prepare yourself because I think this is going to be an extremely ADD post. You should be used to that, but I think this one may be crazy. There's just a lot of things I want to talk about.

Things I like about today:
*CONAN O'BRIEN is BACK! On TBS--RIGHT NOW! (Update SETH ROGEN AND LEA MICHELE AS GUESTS!!!!!! ba;dslkfjwer so much more excited!)
*Most American Chicken Enchiladas I've ever had...but still delicious.
*Singing/Dancing hats at Walmart
*Reminiscing on old timezzz
*Being able to have the windows open in NOVEMBER!
*Finally updating my blog ooi ooi!
*Finally updating my blog IN FULL COMFORT because I'm wearing a snuggie.

Things I don't like about today:
*Our full-size cutout of Taylor Lautner scaring the crap out of me every time I walk into the living room.
*It being dark before 5...not okay.
*That's basically it (The glass if half full, not half empty.)

So yeah, those are things that have happened today. Basically lately I've been playing Bejeweled Blitz, procrastinating doing my homework (mainly thanks to Bejeweled Blitz), watching Modern Family, and hanging out with freeunds. Nothing too extremely exciting.

I know you missed it....THE POSTY POST IS BACK BITCHEZZZZZZ:
http://www.foundmagazine.com/ That is a website that I stumbled upon, and it posts things that people find everyday...it's pretty cool.

Also, I love my friends and just thought that should be known. I wish everyone could be me so they could know how it feels to have the best friends in the world. That is not even over-exaggerating at all. LOVE THEM.

Today I was thinking that I am going to start making my crazy nights into haikus for everyone to enjoy. Here is my first of many:
I missed the bathroom
Put on my basketball shorts
Went out on the town.

This is a great new tradition I think. Let me know what you think. Love you blogger people.

NEW PET! NEW PET! NEW PET!

So, as you may or may not have read in my title.......I NOW HAVE A NEW PET!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHH My life is complete! Okay, so I'll tell you all about him. First of all his name is George Clooney and he is a Pyrrharctia Isabella Caterpillar otherwise known as a "Woolly Bear". He is brown and black, very fuzzy, and extremely cute. One day he will turn into a yellow moth with black specks. That day will be a sad one to let go of my little child-caterpillar. But let's not think about that yet. Here's the story of how we met.

So I was walking home from class, minding my own business. I was walking through the parking lot of my apartment building when I looked down and saw something fuzzy by the curb. I walked past it, but then I decided to go check out the situation. And as it turned out it was GEORGE CLOONEY! So, I broke a stick off of a bush and he climbed right onto it (obviously meaning he loved me too). I got home and was so freaking excited for my new pet!!!!!! So, I made him a comfy home in a spacious 2 BR, 1 Bath tupperware container, with many holes for breathability. I also added some leaves and grass, and of course the comfy stick that he loves. Then Kelsey added a piece of spinach so he would become strong--I think this was a good choice. He's a hungry little guy, and he also poops a lot. Turns out after I did my research to figure out who George really is, I found out what type of caterpillar he is, and many other fun facts about him. His type is born in the fall (he's a BABY! CUTE!) and they hibernate closer to winter then turn into moths in the spring!!!! Also, did you know that if you don't put greens in and there are two caterpillars in a container, then they will turn cannibalistic and EAT EACH OTHER!!! Isn't that crazy?! Right.

So anyways, George Clooney, is my new precious, furry friend and I love him. Here is a picture of not him, but a caterpillar looking quite similar to him (Real pictures of my model caterpillar coming soon):

So besides George Clooney (LOVE), nothing really has been going on. Just school and extracurricular activities, etc. So yeah, hopefully that suits your blogging needs, because that's all I've got. Love ya everybody!

Go out into nature and find a George Clooney for yourself!!!!

It's officially Fall...and still 80 degrees.

Okay, I am just going to jump right back into this foreign concept of "blogging". Every time that I try to make my blog like themed or do something every day or feel like I have to do it, I end up not doing it. SO this is not a food diary/workout journal, I may not do a posty-post (but most likely will), and I don't have any standards to live up to. haha Awesome, low expectations always trump all.

AAAAAAAnyways, like my title said it's officially fall...HAPPY FALL! But, Mother Nature didn't get the memo, and I am still sweating on my way to class due to the sweltering heat. What the eff, I wish it would just be fall weather so I could wear sweaters and tights and scarves and not sweat my butt off (I wish). So, since it is officially fall, I decided to make a few collages of all of the fall fashions that I would like to possess. Most likely, I will not possess any of them, but here's hoping.

First off, we have TOPS:

Essentials for fall--Prep cardigan, military bomber-esque jacket, flowy long sweater, and light v-neck sweater. Yes, please.

Next, skirts and dresses:

These are all pretty self-explanatory. Trends galore.

Next, we have accessories:

Large weekender, infinity scarf (I want this in every color known to man), Owl pin (for cardigans or coats), small over the body purse, New watch (I love my old watch, but I need a dressier one), and the classic gold locket. Love.

Last, but CERTAINLY not least.....SHOES!!!!!!!!!!!!! squeeeee!!!!!

Boots with the heels, cut-out, red oxfords, weird penny loafers that I love, and of course the classic TOMS shoes.

I found all of this stuff on the TOMS shoes website, Forever 21, Charlotte Russe, and Mod Cloth. So if you like what you see go to their websites and shop the crap outta them!

Well, this was a good distraction from homework, but I think I'm going to take a nap. Love ya people.

--Dr. Tina

P.S. You thought I really wouldn't give you a POSTY-POST?! WELL YOU THOUGHT WRONG GURLFRAAAAAAAAAN! Check out this blog, it is HILARIOUS and I freaking love it. Enjoy:

DAY 1!!!!!

Okay, so turns out I'm going to use this as a nutrition/work out journal now. I'll also try to keep up with posty-posts and other really exciting things. So don't think it's only going to be the journal. Keep reading non-existent readers!

SO, DAY 1 of Healthy Lifestyle:
Here's what I ate.....

Breakfast: Special K, skim milk
Lunch: Turkey sandwich--whole wheat bread, light mayo, spinach, turkey, cheddar cheese; half a portion of goldfish
Supper: Bean with bacon soup, carrots with peanut butter
Snacks: portion of whole grain tortilla chips, salsa

Here was my workout....

-Biked 3 miles
-Walked briskly 20 minutes
-3 sets of 20 crunches with 7.5 lb weight

YAAAAAY. Okay, so I don't really have anything else to say for today. But be looking for my updates :)

LOVE YA,
EMMA

Ner ner ner ner ner ner ner.

Okay, so it's the third day of classes and I'm not completely sick of classes yet, but I am REAL bored and unmotivated.

I'm excited because I got a MAC for the new school year. I also got a new iPod touch. They are both amazing and I can't believe I was ever able to live without them. Shoutout to Apple. HAAAAAY.

Okay, seriously though, I am so lame. I don't even have anything to talk about. Today I was supposed to take a half hour nap but ended up waking up 4 hours later because I set my alarm for am instead of pm. Could my life get any better? haha Just kidding, but really.

I'm excited to be in my apartment. We made a GIANT collage on one of our blank walls in the apartment and it looks sweet. We also have these giant posters of cityscapes that we put up. It's a pretty edgy apartment...I wouldn't have it any other way. Maybe I'll put up some pictures of it. Or maybe not because that takes effort.

I'm wearing a 97 cent baseball tee. It reminds me of summer. I love summer and miss it.

This year will be good, I'm looking forward to my classes. Sorry that I am so ADD in these posts and that you non-existent readers can't keep up with my crazy brain. But anyways.....

POSTY POOOOOOooOoOoOoOoOOoooOooOoOooooOOOOOoOOOst!
Got you good, no posty post today. There's just nothing spectactular enough to give my blogger fans. Expect great things for the future though.

Peace and buhlessins',
Emma

No day but today...to fall down.

Okay, so first day of classes today. BOOOOOO. Just kidding, I've only had one class today. But guess what happened? I was walking on my way home from class and stepped off a curb and then my ankle gave out and I fell to the ground. Now my ankle is the size of a baseball...no big deal. Thanks first day, glad to be here.

Sooooo sorry blogger fans, I have not been keeping up with my commitment to this blog. Now I have my new computer, and I am DETERMINED to update on the reg. So keep checking up on me, because hopefully I can entertain with updated blogging. Probably not though hahahahaha

Anyways, I'm sad that summer's over. This was pretty much the best summer of my life. RENT 2010 was possibly the GREATEST experience of my life. I met so many great friends (including ANTHONY RAPP. Yeah, we partied). Performing again was really amazing, especially with so many fantastic people. I also turned 21 (woo, get crunk) and had a semi-terrible job haha. I guess it was good experience, but WHATEVA. So that's enough boring crap.

The much awaited.......POSTY-POST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is an awesomely funny website called "Dear blank, please blank" and people send in things using the phrase "Dear (enter something here) Please (enter something here)". You'll just have to look at it to see how funny it is for yourself. Here's the link:
www.dearblankpleaseblank.com. Read until your heart's desire.

LOVE TO ALL,

She's baaaaaaaaack

Okay, blog fans. Here's the deal. I have no excuse for not blogging for the past months, I just haven't done it. But I am back and better than ever! Maybe. You can be the judge.

Just wanted to let everyone know that life is just plain good right now. Don't you love it when that happens? When you can just sit back and feel great? I know I do.

I haven't posted since it became summer so...HAPPY SUMMER! I hope everyone is enjoying their summer months thus far. I know I have been. I've been filling my days with sunshine, hanging out with people that I love, laughing, bonfires, and bomb pops. There are so many good things about summer, what's one of your favorite things?

Also, I've been busy working (I'm a nanny for some kids this summer) and rehearsing for the production Rent! It's been great getting to know the cast and working with such talent. I love it! Yesterday we were at the Gay pride fest and just sang and walked around, it was great. Then we had an awesome pool party which was also great and definitely a summer staple.

Today, I went shopping, and hung out with friends. I love the weekends!

Sorry this post has been so ADD, but I just had to fill you in on my not-so exciting life.

POSTY POOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOST:

Love the lyrics, love this song, love ABBA. That is all.

Oh and I love you! :)

Hemnahemnahemnahmmmmm.

Lalalalala. I feel like today is such a weird day. It is TUESDAY. Tuesday is such an odd day in the first place. Like, it doesn't suck as much as Monday, but it's still not "almost the weekend" like Wednesday. It's just kind of there. Sorry Tuesday, but you are too neutral for my liking. We have to spice you up. Any suggestions? Tunage Tuesdays? Text message Tuesdays? Tap Dancing Tuesdays? Maybe I'll just change the theme every week. Every Tuesday, you will sit in suspense.

Today will be.... Thesaurus Tuesday! So, I'll pick a word and then suggest to you some other words (found in the Thesaurus) that will make you sound smarter and more eloquent. So the word of the day is... "AWESOME". So instead of sounding like a tweeny bopper, take some of these suggestions to describe your "awesome weekend" or your "awesome sandwich"....
astonishing, awe-inspiring,beautiful, breathtaking, grand, hairy*, magnificent, majestic, mind blowing, shocking, stunning, wondrous
*not really sure why "hairy" was found for a synonym of "awesome"...but that's pretty "hairy" if you ask me*

So enough of gaining vocabulary. Let's get back to the fun stuff. Oh wait...there is no fun stuff. What now? I've decided that every time I go out I want to tell a lie to someone I've just met haha. You may ask, "Why would you want to do that Emma?" Well children, it makes the night much more interesting. Faking a terrible British accent and lying about walking dogs at the Humane Society could make for a funny story the next day. Next time you go out, try it--it's more fun than you think!

NOWWWWWWWWWWWWWW it's Posty-post time. Bowchicka wow wow! OWWWWW!
So, I did this new thing where I go to www.flickr.com (which is an awesome site of millions of pictures BTW) and then I click on "The Last 7 days" but then it gives you an option to choose any month and then you can choose any day. I chose my birthday (July 5th, 2009) and it showed me a random amount of pictures that were submitted that day. I decided to collage them and posty-post them here for your viewing pleasure.

Check out Flickr, you can always find a picture that makes you happy :)

PEACE,
Weezy (Gangsta for Emma)

Stranger Danger

Ohheyblog. Missed you for the past month.

Sorry about my 4 week hiatus. I have just been drawing a blank for what to write on this blog. The Oscar post took a lot out of me. It's rough.

So obviously, I still don't have anything to write about. Oh, Happy Easter! Today, the Easter Bunny visited my house, and left me an Easter notepad and a small chocolate marshmallow treat...while he left my brother a 3-lb Reese's egg and other assorted candies. How old am I? Obviously not old enough to not receive a themed notepad for every holiday.

Lately, I've been feeling quite positive about life. How can you not? The weather is becoming beautiful, my friends are awesome, and there's just so many things to be appreciative for.

So, I'm back with a strong POSTY-POST for the day. This is a video which is the literal version of the music video to "Total Eclipse of the Heart". The video is already weird enough alone, but with the literal description on top of it, it is a winner. Ch-ch-ch-check it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lj-x9ygQEGA

Over-surprised guy....weirded out,
Emma

Oscar Who?

FIRST, I would like to apologize for the hiatus in post updates...I'm sure you've all been dying for a new post. My immune system decided to suck for a while, but I'm becoming well enough to satisfy all of your blog needs!

SECOND, I haven't written on here in days, so brace yourself...this post is going to be lengthy.

THIRD, since you all enjoyed the celeb fashion critiques SO MUCH, I would like to make up for my brief hiatus with a SPECIAL.....

OSCARS RED CARPET FASHIONS POST!!!!!!!
Get excited...because HERE WE GO!!!!! (You can click on the pictures to make them bigger!)

Let's start off with the MEN of the Red Carpet.

(Counter Clockwise, then to the middle)
Ahh, George Clooney. The definition of "Silver Fox". Everyone was raving about his long hair...but I'm not diggin' it. I like the rugged, scruffy, short haired look for him. But regardless, he was still working it.
Next, we have the youngins--Taylor Lautner and Zac Efron. I don't even know what to say, because these two always look good. I'm glad that Zac is going a little out of the box with the skinny black tie, versus the bow tie. HOTTIES, that's all.
WOOOOOO, Gerard Butler is becoming the new George Clooney. He is HOT. He's looking quite dapper in his tux, while still having the ruggedness with the beard. Work it G-But.
Last but not least, the award for "Emma's Favorite Men's Look" goes to......
ROBERT DOWNEY JUNIOR. Congrats Rob, this is an honor. I'm loving the oversized, BLUE bowtie, awesome glasses, and black and white sneaks. Thanks for stepping outside of the cookie cutter and doing your own thaaaaang!

Next, we move on to Ladies in Metallic. And the nominees are:

Miley Slutrus...Okay, I don't like her. And this dress makes me like her less. I know that the whole "corset" look is in..but I'm not a fan of it on Miles.
Demi Moore--It's okay, and I like the hair.
Elizabeth Banks--Funny gone fashionista. I'm liking the silver dress, and she is twerkin' it. Mixed with the smokey eye, she is a vision in grey tones.
Sarah Jessica Parker--Although some may not like it, I kind of LOVE it. In this post she kind of looks like Oscar herself, but I really like it. The color looks great and I love how the embellishment goes on to the back. SPOT ON.
Sandra Bullock--Just want to start this off by saying I LOVE HER. I'm so glad she won Best Actress...but today she won't be winning best in Metallic. The dress is okay, but so not Best Actress worthy. The embroidery on the top is a little old fashioned and I think she could of worked a brighter color. Maybe next year she'll feel a little bolder, now that she's got her own Oscar :)
Kathryn Bigelow--Don't love it...a little puckery and boring. For the first female Best Director, AND Best Picture, she could have done better.
AND THE WINNER IS.....CAMERON DIAZ! I love this classic shape, and there is just enough embellishment for her to show her personality. Plus I love her hair.

J-Lo versus Amanda Seyfried...

The winner IS...AMANDA. Okay, I know that everyone though Jen looked "Fabulous" and "Stunning" but I think that "She looked like a bolt of fabric was tacked to her left hip". The looks were similar, but I definitely liked Amanda's better.

Next, the classic, "Little Black Dress".

Let's start with Faith Hill...first, WHY was she there? Something to do with "The Blindside", but I wasn't catching on. Even though she didn't belong, she decided to wear terribly ugly spider web tights to match her terribly ugly spider web embellishment on her dress. I'm over it Faithy.
Next, Kristen Stewart. Okay, we're getting closer K-Stew...but if you'd stop biting your lip and start smiling and working your dress, we may be better convinced. I like the shape of the dress, it's interesting...but I wish someone else was wearing it.
But the one who takes the award for this category is...Carey Mulligan! I usually don't like the "Mullet" hem, as I like to refer to it, but on Carey and in this particular dress, it looks GREAT! The shoes, the hair, the earrings, and of course the DRESS make anyone who wore black regret their choice.

Next is the coveted...Worst Dressed Female. And here are the nominees...

Starting with Charlize Theron. Yikes, girl. It looks like someone is cupping your ladies. That is NOT a good look. I understand trying to be bold...but this is not good.
Next, we have Zoe Saldana. I appreciate the color, but this is just too much. Plus this picture doesn't show the GIANT SLIT in the front which adds to the horrendousness. Try again next year.
It was a close call, but second to worst would be Mo apostrophe Nique. Did one of your charm school girls dress you? This looks straight from K-Mart, girl. The fake flower, the un-figure flattering dress...it just doesn't add up. But congrats on the Oscar...that will make you look better, right?
But the worst dressed is...DIANE KRUGER! Congrats on looking like someone vomited up every fabric and texture in beige onto your dress! Yikes is all I have to say.

Now the best award of the blog is Best Dressed Female.

First, let's start with the classic Meryl Streep. She was going a little different with the long sleeves and classy silhouette. It's very age appropriate, but still fashion forward. She looked great!
Next, we have Vera Farmiga. Okay, it may look a little crazy, but I LOVE THIS. The volume and color is so bold, but not too busy. LOVE.
It was a very close call, but next is Queen Latifah. Holy crap, if I could wear any dress, I would want this one. The color is on, the shape is on, the embellishments, the hair...only one thing Queen...lose the Miley Cyrus peace sign. That dress is 10x classier than that.
And the Winner IS Rachel McAdams. I just love it. Everything is good about this whole look.

So, if you haven't fallen asleep on your computer yet, then thank you for reading and let me know what YOUR opinions of the looks from the Oscars were! Obviously, this is a NP^2 kind of day since it's already so long. So I'm going to stop typing now, and let you get back to your life haha.

With all your Fashion Emergencies,
Emma

Tool-e-oke

"Things don't go wrong and break your heart so you can become bitter and give up. They happen to break you down and build you up so you can be all that you were intended to be."

So, that's currently one of my favorite quotes. It's hard when something goes wrong to think about moving past it and becoming a better person, but that is definitely what you need to do to handle it. Not everything always goes right, but you can just keep trying for what you want and you never know the great things that could happen.

Okay so, sorry about the deepness-let's get back to the usual dry, funny, Trash TV blog you know and love. Tonight on the Trashy TV line-up: Frank the Entertainer-A Basement Affair, Tool Academy, and Keeping Up with the Kardashians. It seemed like the theme of the night was singing to prove your love, because they were singing in the basement, and also participated in "tool-e-oke" at the academy. No singing so far on the Kardashians, but who knows with those crazy broads.

So, one of my blog's BIGGEST fans (haha Lindsey) suggested to me that I should do some critiques of Celebrity fashion. So, to keep my viewers happy, I will comply with this request. I'm going to go ahead and Google a celebrity, and the first picture of them that pops up, I will judge (harshly) what they're wearing.

1. Of course, we start it all off with the one and only Zac Efron (actor):

Okay, so I'm enjoying the white shirt (I can't decide if I enjoy it because of the "simple" look or because it's half off), but I think his pants could be a little tighter, they seem to be falling down. Also, I'm not a fan of boxers, which he appears to be wearing. Come on Zac, boxer briefs are where it's at!!!

2. Next, we have fashionista/crazy-ista Lady Gaga (singer):

Amy Winehouse? Gagz, for real-put some pants on. I know that you are just trying to show your kooky attitude, but no pants? You're on the fence of kooky vs. crazy. But I do like the dark hair.

3. Taylor Swift (singer):

I think that she's been the best dressed on this list thus far. But I am getting a little bored with the "goody two shoes" look. I think that T-swizzle needs to add some edge, maybe kick the cowboy boots and add some sassy, platform heels. Keep that in mind Tay (since you are clearly reading this).

4. Fashion "icon", aka Posh Spice, Victoria Beckham (What even is her career anymore?):

Okay Posh, we know you're skinny. Could you please stop shoving it in all of our faces? Thanks. But seriously, she looks like she could blow away. Okay, so the pants fit her scrawny legs well, but the shirt is a little off. The shirt has a weird neckline and makes her shoulders look broad. And she's lookin' a little matchy-matchy with all the beige. I'm not really diggin' it.

5. Last, but definitely not least, Marc Jacobs (fashion designer):

How can you not love him? If I were a guy, I would dress exactly like him. Even though he's a fashion designer and makes really out-there clothes, he still dresses like a semi-normal person that has better than average fashion sense. I'm a huge fan of the big, clear glasses (I have a pair of my own) and paired with the vintage Mickey tee and airplane necklace, it shows his playful and creative side. Although, he does look a bit like he just rolled out of the bed, I would go shopping with him any day.

This is a No-Posty-Post Day (an NP^2, if you will) since there is already a lot posted. If you have any suggestions for another celebrity that you'd like me to critique, comment the crap outta this post, and your wish is my command.

Tough Love,

Razzi, Papa.

OKAY, SO I AM OFFICIALLY GOING TO BE FAMOUS FOR THIS IDEA THAT I CAME UP WITH TODAY. IT IS EXCITING. I'm actually semi-nervous to share...you know, since SO many people read this blog. Just don't take me super boss idea, because it is awesome. Okay, so three words.....

LADY

GAGA

MUSICAL.

How GREAT would that be? I mean, they did it with ABBA songs (Mamma Mia) and now they're doing it with Green Day songs (American Idiot), so why not do it with Modern-day Madonna herself, Lady Gaga. Seriously, I am going to start writing it. And you just wait until you see it on Broadway someday. Even if I don't do it, someone will steal my idea and make it happen. I just know it. How could there NOT be a musical using Lady Gaga's songs? I love her, and you will love her too if you watch this musical. Since it is real. Just Dance, Paparazzi, Telephone...the opportunities for a story line are endless.

Okay and also, I really want an ice cream cake from Dairy Queen. So if anyone can make THAT happen, that'd be great.

Here she comes....it's the Posty-post!!!!!

The Fame Monster herself...inspiring Broadway.

And, a cheesy Gagz joke...
How do you wake up Lady Gaga? P-P-P-Poke her face.

"Love is just a word until someone comes along and gives it meaning."

Happy Valentines day everyone!!!!!

So I know that people either love Valentines Day (mainly people in relationships) or hate Valentines Day (mainly people not in relationships), but I am one of the rare few that is NOT in a relationship, yet still loves Valentines Day. I feel like Valentines Day isn't about being in relationship or being in love, it's just about Love in general. Everyone needs to remember that they are loved, if it's by a million people or one person, you are loved. And as well as being loved, you have to share love! Tell everyone today--friends, family, strangers, that you love them! This is meant to be a day of happiness....and the candy is an okay part of it too.

Speaking of the Valentines Day candy...
Today I was eating Conversation hearts and one of them said "You Nerd"...really? Since when do they put insults on conversation hearts? haha Probably when they started putting "E-mail me". Pretty soon they'll be putting like..."Sext me" or something hahaha Oh my.

Just wanted to remind all of my friends that I love you and appreciate you all so much! You are great people and you make my life complete! :) Happy Valentines Day!

Posty-post for today are two Valentines Day-Themed Postsecrets:

This is a fashion face....a face full of fashion.

Okay, so I've been thinking lately about how much I really like clothes, shopping, and fashion. So I was bored tonight and decided to put together a few collages of outfits I would love to have in my wardrobe. This is what I really want to do with my life. I would like to be a fashion editor or something of that nature. Fashion is my THANG. Although sometimes I'm a little out there, I think that I choose reasonable things (plus they are all things that are less than $50, maybe even $25!!!). Well, I will leave you with my quote-unquote "Look Book". Enjoy. (Postscript, this is the posty-post). (Post-postscript, you can click on the pics to make them bigger if you're really that interested haha).

The Situation.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Okay, I will explain that. So today I was just driving over to Drugtown to pick up some groceries, and then, all of a sudden, DISASTER HIT. Out of the corner of my eye I see a small, furry thing running out into the street and then I tried to veer...oh my, it was terrible. I looked in my rearview mirror and saw the furry object moving, so I figured it was okay. On my way back I drove the same way...and it was still there. AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! I killed an innocent raccoon. :( This is eating me up inside. This has never happened to me and I am just falling apart. RIP Raccoon, I am so sorry.

Okay, so I'm going to try to get my mind off of that. I am watching "Jersey Shore: Before the Shore" and it is ridiculous. How do you become a crappy reunion/extra shows host? This girl sucks so bad-- "We'll see how the situation became the situation before he was the situation"....excuse me. I want to know the credentials for this job. Do you have to have little to no brain cells (enuf 2 read da Q-cardz of cors!), and be obsessed with the shows? Check. Well, I'm half way there. Oh, you also have to have a really crappy name.

My lips are chapped. I know that I have appx. 5 tubes of Chapstick, I'm just not sure where any of them are. I swear there is a land of lost bobbypins, hairties, and chapstick. Maybe even socks. But really...where do they all go? I have to buy new ones every once in a while and I always wonder why. Maybe I'll write a book about this magic land. Or maybe not.

Negative nancy-ing it up,
E-dizzle

Postscript:
I forgot about the posty-post because of my whirlwind emotions. Instead of a posty-post today, I would like to posty-post a question. And you should posty-post an answer. The question is:
"If you could be the host of any trash TV show, which show would it be?"

Fuggz

Okay, so can I just walk my blogger fans through my life right now? My night was CRABSOLUTELY ridic.

So, around 7:30, I'm like "Hey, I need some boots because tomorrow I'm going to be walking through the snow". So I decide to venture off on a quest to find boots (not like hiking boots, but fake uggs aka fuggs).

First stop, K*Mart. I get there and guess what? NOTHING. No boots of any type. I actually found a pair of mocassins there, and since I've been looking for those, I decided to purchase. I go up to the one line that is open, and OF COURSE, my shoes don't have a tag on them. Why would they have a tag? I am unlucky. So the woman checking me out tries to punch in some made up numbers (like she knows what she's doing) and then eventually mumbles "Well, I guess I'm going to have to call these back." Okay, then just do it. So she walks over and it's all just taking forever. Meanwhile, a giant line is forming behind me and everyone's looking at me like I'M the beeyotch. Don't blame me for stupid, rude employees. Whatever, I'm over K-Mart.

Second, I decided to go to Target (although I thought it may be too expensive). Strike two-nothing. Really? Okay, but luckily they are STOCKED FULL of flip flops and sandals. You know since it's so warm out. I guess I should have been buying boots last spring.

Next, I went to TJ Maxx and then Kohls. Funny, because the exact same thing happened to me at both stores. There was ONE pair of boots that I would have bought, but for some reason one of the boots was missing....really. The one pair of boots in my size and the second boot is missing? What is my life?

Then, I went to Gordmans. As I was walking in, over the loudspeaker I hear "Please bring your final purchases to the front and we will assist you." Awesome, so now I have to sprint to the back of the store. To no prevail. No boots, just flippy floppys.

Lastly, I go to the almost reliable Walms. The only boots I find are SLIPPERS! FREAKING SLIPPERS!!!!! WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT SLIPPER BOOTS?!?!?! Could someone please explain this?

So after 2 hours of searching, I walk away with no boots and cold feet. But on the positive side the Grammys are on on Sunday.

With fiery passion,
E-durrt

It's Been Ten Days without you in my reach.

Okay, so I was looking how long it's been since I last updated and it's been ten days, which inadvertently reminded me of the song "Ten Days" by Missy Higgins. Thus the title of the post. I'm very sorry that it's been ten days since this blog has been in your reach. Although this song IS good, it is not my song of the day. Because "Hey Soul Sister" by Train is. I know I'm switching it up by putting the song of the day at the beginning of my post. I have to keep this exciting somehow.

Anywho. It's been really boring and weird not being in school. I'm trying to think of things to do, but I keep running out of ideas. Therefore, watching Hannah Montana. Yeah, my brother asked me if a was a 12-year old. To which I answered, "Yes". But really, there is nothing else on. This show does prove to be really stupid though. This episode is particularly dumb...guest starring Joey Fatone. I'm glad that he's still going places. It seems strange to me that in every "tough situation" it is all solved by "Miley" being "Hannah" because the people that are causing trouble seem to always love Hannah Montana. Not that many people actually like Hannah Montana. But I guess Joe Fat-One does. But I do appreciate all of the N*Sync jokes they are making.

Okay, so no more Hannah Montana rants. That was enough for one blog. So I have to make a video for a camp counselor job that I'm applying for this summer. Does anyone have any awesome ideas? I was thinking something funny and creative. I just want to make sure it's memorable. All of my previous videos that I've made with friends have turned out okay, so hopefully this one follows suit. Throw the ideas my way if you have them!

10 day's worth of a POSTY-POST!

One of my new favorite videos: "Chickens inspired by Chickens" by one of my favorite vloggers--Tyler Oakley. If you want some videos, go to his Channel. But personally, I think this is one of his best. haha I can't stop laughing because now I am watching it.

Tomorrow's my Half-Birthday.

Just in case you didn't know...

TOMORROW'S MY HALF BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!! Exciting, right? I know.

Actually, besides that I don't really have anything exciting to say. Since that was probably so exciting for everyone. I decided that all I really want is a treadmill. It would be nice to just have a treadmill in my house so I wouldn't have to walk outside and slip on the ice and break my ankles. Also, then I wouldn't have to get a gym membership.

I've got my work-out schedule all set-up and decided that this blog is also going to act as a record of my weight loss. I'm sure all of you are just peeing your pants with excitement. haha. Tomorrow, I will start with the stats, etc.

My Song of the moment is: "The Queen and I" by Gym Class Heroes It's an oldie, but goodie. I enjoy it.

The Posty-Post today is one of my NEW favorite quotes:
"Nobody can start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending."

2010--ow ow.

HAPPY 2010 EVERYONE!!!!

Sorry, I know it's a couple days late, but I figured I should still say it.

Okay, so I haven't posted in approximately a fillion days, so I figured that it was about time. 2010 is already doing me right, I'm feeling pretty good about it. Has everyone made their resolutions? I think I've made a couple, as follows:

1. Lose 90-100 pounds by my birthday (July 5th).
2. Live healthier (related to previous resolution).
3. Gain confidence and BE BOLD.

Those are very cliche resolutions, now looking back on them. But I'm feeling positive, so I don't even care if they are vague and everyone else in the world has them as their own resolutions. Related to resolutions, I just finished a six-week exercise plan that is going into action tomorrow. I'm excited! So what are your resolutions? Comment and tell me!

I am getting quite excited for the new Vh1 Sunday night line-up tonight. Frank the Entertainer: A basement Affair, Tough Love, and Secrets of Aspen. Quite the line-up, you should all tune in. Better than the Disney channel...which I've been watching all day.
