Fuggz

Okay, so can I just walk my blogger fans through my life right now? My night was CRABSOLUTELY ridic.

So, around 7:30, I'm like "Hey, I need some boots because tomorrow I'm going to be walking through the snow". So I decide to venture off on a quest to find boots (not like hiking boots, but fake uggs aka fuggs).

First stop, K*Mart. I get there and guess what? NOTHING. No boots of any type. I actually found a pair of mocassins there, and since I've been looking for those, I decided to purchase. I go up to the one line that is open, and OF COURSE, my shoes don't have a tag on them. Why would they have a tag? I am unlucky. So the woman checking me out tries to punch in some made up numbers (like she knows what she's doing) and then eventually mumbles "Well, I guess I'm going to have to call these back." Okay, then just do it. So she walks over and it's all just taking forever. Meanwhile, a giant line is forming behind me and everyone's looking at me like I'M the beeyotch. Don't blame me for stupid, rude employees. Whatever, I'm over K-Mart.

Second, I decided to go to Target (although I thought it may be too expensive). Strike two-nothing. Really? Okay, but luckily they are STOCKED FULL of flip flops and sandals. You know since it's so warm out. I guess I should have been buying boots last spring.

Next, I went to TJ Maxx and then Kohls. Funny, because the exact same thing happened to me at both stores. There was ONE pair of boots that I would have bought, but for some reason one of the boots was missing....really. The one pair of boots in my size and the second boot is missing? What is my life?

Then, I went to Gordmans. As I was walking in, over the loudspeaker I hear "Please bring your final purchases to the front and we will assist you." Awesome, so now I have to sprint to the back of the store. To no prevail. No boots, just flippy floppys.

Lastly, I go to the almost reliable Walms. The only boots I find are SLIPPERS! FREAKING SLIPPERS!!!!! WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT SLIPPER BOOTS?!?!?! Could someone please explain this?

So after 2 hours of searching, I walk away with no boots and cold feet. But on the positive side the Grammys are on on Sunday.

With fiery passion,
E-durrt

It's Been Ten Days without you in my reach.

Okay, so I was looking how long it's been since I last updated and it's been ten days, which inadvertently reminded me of the song "Ten Days" by Missy Higgins. Thus the title of the post. I'm very sorry that it's been ten days since this blog has been in your reach. Although this song IS good, it is not my song of the day. Because "Hey Soul Sister" by Train is. I know I'm switching it up by putting the song of the day at the beginning of my post. I have to keep this exciting somehow.

Anywho. It's been really boring and weird not being in school. I'm trying to think of things to do, but I keep running out of ideas. Therefore, watching Hannah Montana. Yeah, my brother asked me if a was a 12-year old. To which I answered, "Yes". But really, there is nothing else on. This show does prove to be really stupid though. This episode is particularly dumb...guest starring Joey Fatone. I'm glad that he's still going places. It seems strange to me that in every "tough situation" it is all solved by "Miley" being "Hannah" because the people that are causing trouble seem to always love Hannah Montana. Not that many people actually like Hannah Montana. But I guess Joe Fat-One does. But I do appreciate all of the N*Sync jokes they are making.

Okay, so no more Hannah Montana rants. That was enough for one blog. So I have to make a video for a camp counselor job that I'm applying for this summer. Does anyone have any awesome ideas? I was thinking something funny and creative. I just want to make sure it's memorable. All of my previous videos that I've made with friends have turned out okay, so hopefully this one follows suit. Throw the ideas my way if you have them!

10 day's worth of a POSTY-POST!

One of my new favorite videos: "Chickens inspired by Chickens" by one of my favorite vloggers--Tyler Oakley. If you want some videos, go to his Channel. But personally, I think this is one of his best. haha I can't stop laughing because now I am watching it.

Tomorrow's my Half-Birthday.

Just in case you didn't know...

TOMORROW'S MY HALF BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!! Exciting, right? I know.

Actually, besides that I don't really have anything exciting to say. Since that was probably so exciting for everyone. I decided that all I really want is a treadmill. It would be nice to just have a treadmill in my house so I wouldn't have to walk outside and slip on the ice and break my ankles. Also, then I wouldn't have to get a gym membership.

I've got my work-out schedule all set-up and decided that this blog is also going to act as a record of my weight loss. I'm sure all of you are just peeing your pants with excitement. haha. Tomorrow, I will start with the stats, etc.

My Song of the moment is: "The Queen and I" by Gym Class Heroes It's an oldie, but goodie. I enjoy it.

The Posty-Post today is one of my NEW favorite quotes:
"Nobody can start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending."

2010--ow ow.

HAPPY 2010 EVERYONE!!!!

Sorry, I know it's a couple days late, but I figured I should still say it.

Okay, so I haven't posted in approximately a fillion days, so I figured that it was about time. 2010 is already doing me right, I'm feeling pretty good about it. Has everyone made their resolutions? I think I've made a couple, as follows:

1. Lose 90-100 pounds by my birthday (July 5th).
2. Live healthier (related to previous resolution).
3. Gain confidence and BE BOLD.

Those are very cliche resolutions, now looking back on them. But I'm feeling positive, so I don't even care if they are vague and everyone else in the world has them as their own resolutions. Related to resolutions, I just finished a six-week exercise plan that is going into action tomorrow. I'm excited! So what are your resolutions? Comment and tell me!

I am getting quite excited for the new Vh1 Sunday night line-up tonight. Frank the Entertainer: A basement Affair, Tough Love, and Secrets of Aspen. Quite the line-up, you should all tune in. Better than the Disney channel...which I've been watching all day.

Yeast, Water, and Juice

It's Christmas Eve and I am sitting here watching Pawn Stars, which turns out to be a good show. And if you're wondering what the title of this post is, it is ingredients in making wine. The yeast turns the water and juice into alcohol. Who would have thought? I want to try this sometime, but I will probably epically fail. Oh well.

I hope that everyone enjoys their Christmas and that Santa brings you everything that your heart desires. I didn't ask for anything from Santa, so hopefully he actually comes and brings me something that I subconsciously want.

I feel like putting together Legos and making something extremely intricate. Maybe Santa will bring me Legos.

The song of the moment is "Joseph's Lullaby" by Mercy Me. It's very Christmas-y.

Okay, well since it is Christmas Eve, I will leave you all with a shorter post today. But don't even THINK that I was about to forget

THE POSTY-POST!!!!!!! wooooooooooo!

Here is a recipe for Peanut Brittle. I want to make it, but the only ingredient I don't have is Peanuts. So I'm considering every other alternative possible. But if you have Peanuts (and all other ingredients), then you should enjoy this.

Double your pleasure, Double your built-in Chaps.

A-Hey there blogger people.

So, it is Christmas Eve-Eve and I still have to get a couple presents together. I'm really good at procrastinating, even with something fun like buying Christmas presents. Oh well, as always, I will get them done at the last minute and hopefully the people on the receiving end will enjoy the gifts.

Today, I met with some high school friends at one of our favorite restaurants. It's called Tings and it is DELICIOUS. I went outside my comfort zone and ordered the Sesame chicken, versus the Chicken with Broccoli that I usually indulge in. Spicin' it up, right? Yeah, I'm pretty wild. Anyways, it was fantastic, as always. Then I went to David's house and met his precious baby sister!!! Squee, she is so cute.

EPIPHANY!!!!!! I decided last night that I want to go to Grad school. I decided that as much as I like Music Education, I think that I would like Music Therapy even more. Seeing music heal people is just such a powerful concept, and I can't wait for that to be a part of my life. Plus I will be a really sophisticated Grad Student, and it may even give me a chance to get out of Iowa for a bit (gasp!).

Also, I forgot to do a song for the last post, so this song of the moment is good enough to cover both days: Annie by Dave Barnes. Do what you wish with that info.

Also, since I didn't do a post yesterday, I decided to double your fun with a....wait for it.....

DOUBLE POSTY-POST!!!!!

The first posty-post for today is a website. It is called "Stumble Upon". It's really fun because it asks about your interests and then it finds really cool websites for you to look at. ***WARNING*** This is a time-suck, but it's fun, so do it over winter break and get it out of your system.

Second Posty-Post of the day is one of my favorite Postsecrets:

Moo with me,
